Litbuy spreadsheet FAQ: a three-step flow and rows worth keeping
Short answers for people who want the noise removed: what the three steps really are, which rows survive curation, and how to keep the first order genuinely small.
← Back to overviewBasics
What does 'compressed into three cards' mean?
Pick a row, buy it through Litbuy, then ship it. Everything else — menus, dashboards, upsells — is deliberately kept out of the path.
Why are there fewer rows here than elsewhere?
Because rows are dropped when they stop being worth a decision. A smaller sheet you actually use beats a large one that feels like homework.
Is using this sheet free?
Free to read and compare. Payment only exists inside Litbuy, once you turn a row into an order.
Buying & payment
Which marketplaces can the rows come from?
Taobao, Weidian, 1688 and JD. Rows favour the source that is currently worth it, and switch when a better version of the same item shows up.
How do I avoid version confusion on clothing?
Read the note before the price. Rows say when a version matters — different factory, different trim, different fit — because the listing title rarely does.
Can I really start with one item?
Yes, and you should. One item teaches you the whole loop; freight on a single small row is the tuition fee, and it is worth paying once.
QC & shipping
Is QC worth doing on a cheap row?
If the fault would bother you, yes. Skipping QC on a cheap row is fine when the item is generic; it is a mistake when colour or print accuracy matters.
How do I keep freight low?
Ship compact, ship together, and drop unnecessary retail boxes. Most expensive freight is the result of air being shipped at parcel rates.
Do I get photos before the parcel leaves?
Standard inspection images are part of the flow, so you can approve or query before shipping is finalised. Use that step rather than hoping.
Money & safety
What will my first order actually cost?
Item price plus domestic delivery, international freight, the service portion, and possible customs. Model all of it before paying for goods — not afterwards.
What is the honest risk here?
Sizing mistakes and seized restricted goods. Both are preventable: measure against something you own, and never ship what line rules forbid.
Are refunds straightforward?
Before international shipping, yes — the item is still in China. After it has shipped, refunds become slow and rarely worth the effort for cheap rows.
A simplified guide. Litbuy's live prices, steps and shipping options are the ones that apply at checkout.
